Sunset Beach
The only 500m long beach is fine and certainly the most beautiful in the area of Nang Thong and Bang Niang. It is picturesquely equipped with individual large rocks, such as the Elephant Rock. The jungle of the Lamru National Park above the beach makes all kinds of sounds but also cooler air.
However, the ascent to the hotel reception at the top of the mountain cannot be overestimated.
The hotels Baan Khao Lak and the hotels Moracea and Sensimar, which are popular with German holidaymakers, are centrally located and still within easy walking distance of the Khao Lak center.
Further up the mountain are the Wanaburee, the Khaolak Paradise, the Palm Beach, the Bayfront and the Sunset.
