We do not recommend the cheaper buses without air conditioning.
The ticket costs 580 baht and is issued to Takua Pa. As the bus continues towards Phuket, you stay seated until Khao Lak. Around 7 a.m., you either get off at 7-eleven at the turn-off to Bang Niang Beach (= KM 62.1) or at the Nang Thong Supermarket (= KM 59.6) at the turn-off to Nang Thong Beach.
