Beach
Due to a natural coloring, the beach in the south appears darker around the Thai-style Hotel Bhandari, which is popular with German guests, than at the deserted northern part around the Hotel The Sands.
Tourism once originated here on the southern section
in Khao Lak and here you will also most likely find the popular beachfront bungalow complexes such as Nang Thong Beach and Nang Thong Bay.
Nang Thong is the center of Khao Lak with over 300 shops and restaurants.
