Bangsak Beach
Bangsak Beach in the far north of Khao Lak has relatively white, beautiful sand. Since there are hardly any hotels and resorts there are only a few visitors on the beach, especially locals who linger there for a picnic.
The long, relatively flat Bang Sak Bay is lined with many giant cassowaries and numerous coconut palms. Many small, nice restaurants on the beach offer a large selection of Thai dishes and excellent seafood.
