Khao Lak
The Khao Lak diving centers offer boat tours to the most famous diving areas in the Andaman Sea, including the Similan Islands, which are among the 10 best diving areas in the world.
All diving schools offer courses in which you can be trained to become an Open Water Diver in 3 to 4 days. German diving instructors are of course at your disposal. It does not matter financially whether you book your diving course or excursion in the hotel or directly with the organizer.
In particular, manta rays and whale sharks around Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and Richelieu Rock are spotted very often.
The beautifully populated wreck Boon Song can be explored at a depth of between 12 and 20 meters.
But the Koh Surin Islands, Northern Rocks and Burma Banks also give the spoiled diver unusual experiences.
The non-plus-ultra are live aboard cruises, 3- to 7-day diving boat trips, e.g. to the Burmese Islands.
