Dear Khao Lak friends,

the Amanusa Resort at Khao Lak does not exist any more.
A sequence of unfortunate events led to the sale of the property to the owners of La Flora, who incorporated it into the new upmarket Casa La Flora project.
Beachside resorts in the same price range as the Amanusa Resort exist now only at Nang Thong Beach.
At Bang Niang Beach the Cousin Resort is situated 100 meters inland. The room rates are about 1000 Baht cheaper there.
The holiday homes of Sita Garden are fully booked from middle of November to the end of February.
Also Jasmin Resort is fully booked long in advance.
Highly recommended is the new Baan Bamboo right next to Amsterdam Resort. Its atmosphere is similar to the former Amanusa Resort, the room rates are around 1600 Baht, a small but very nice bamboo room costs only 700 Baht.

With best regards,
Richard
